First Sleipner unit in Kazakhstan.
In October 2018, Sleipner Finland Oy in Tampere, Finland has released one more Sleipner E120 transport systems from its premises. This is the first Sleipner transport system unit that was commissioned in November at the Bapy Mining iron ore deposit, Karaganda region in Republic of Kazakhstan. Sleipner E120 transport system will be used for transporting Komatsu PC1250 and Terex RH40 excavators.
Bapy Mining has purchased Sleipner transportation system as part of an investment program to increase production and reduce operating and maintenance costs.
It is proved that Sleipner systems significantly reduce operating costs of tracked vehicles (mining excavators), minimize wear of undercarriage elements and fuel consumption. Sleipner systems are aimed to increase performance of excavators by saving time on transportation and returning these hours back into operation.
